Elite Built Pty Ltd recognises the impact that its business and manufacturing operations has on the environment, its customers, employees and neighbours. To this effect the company is committed to the protection of the environment, prevention of pollution, ensuring the health and safety of its employees, and well being of its customers and neighbours.

Elite Built is committed to the protection of the environment and the continuous improvement of its performance in the reduction of environmental impacts. This commitment applies to the whole of Elite Built’s business covering the manufacture of metal storage products at Sunshine and Bayswater.

As part of this commitment Elite Built Pty Ltd will:

• Comply with ISO 14001 the International Standard for Environmental Management.
• Comply with other applicable accreditation standards including legal and regulatory requirements.
• Establish programmes to achieve agreed environmental targets and objectives.
• Plan for and conduct site operations in a manner that safeguards health, while minimising environmental impacts and optimising resource utilisation.
• Establish remedial contingency plans to effectively manage and control accidental spills and discharges.
• Continually work to reduce or eliminate all harmful releases to the environment to the extent that proven technology will allow.
• Actively source and market eco-friendly products, promoting reuse and recycling via the use of products able to be recycled.
• Participate in appropriate industry wide initiatives for the protection of the environment led by government or by industry representative bodies.
• Communicate regularly with employees, customers and suppliers to heighten awareness of environmental issues and encourage active participation.
• Promote this commitment by making copies of this policy available to employees, customers and suppliers.
